Biography
Andrea is a PhD student in the Department of Soil, Water and Climate. Her research focuses on the influence of irrigation and nitrogen Management on corn yield, water and nitrogen use efficiency and nitrate leaching in Minnesota. The overall goal of her research is to develop research-based irrigation and N management data, information and fundamental relationships that will help farmers to make better on-farm management decisions, government agencies to develop policy/rules, and researchers to advance the sensor-based (proximal and remote sensing) irrigation and N management research.
