Biography

Caroline is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and her research is focused on mercury in peatlands and how climate change will impact the production and export of toxic methylmercury to surface waters.

Her research site is the Spruce and Peatland Responses Under changing Environments (SPRUCE) project which is a large scale climate change manipulation experiment in the Marcell Experimental Forest.
